Forecourt retail specialist Suresite Group and fuel and retail service provider TSG UK have partnered to release a new point-to-point encryption payment (P2PE) solution for the forecourt industry.
Orion is a one-stop-shop payments solution that boasts improved customer experience.
As a one-stop-shop solution, the hardware, installation, software and customer support all come from one provider, making it easier for retailers. This new solution is backed by TSG’s service engineers and field technicians.
The P2PE solution accepts all major bank and fuel cards and is PCI-approved. This ensures cardholder data is captured and encrypted, which both reassures consumers that their sensitive data is safe and secure. It also significantly reduces the paperwork and potential costs associated with PCI compliance for forecourt retailers.
All of Suresite’s card payment terminals are continually monitored to proactively check functionality, highlighting potential issues and triggering online resolution.

In other security news, Sequoia Capital recently led a $10.5m investment into Skiff, an end-to-end encrypted collaboration platform. The company claims it is redesigning software ‘as it should have been’ – to be easy, private, and secure. The company’s first product is an end-to-end encrypted platform that supports collaboration, email, and messaging.
