Perimeter 81 closes investment and partnership agreement with SonicWall

Perimeter 81, a zero-trust secure network, has closed its Series A funding round which was supplied by SonicWall.

In addition to the investment SonicWall, a security platform defending one million networks globally, has signed a mutual commercial original equipment manufacturer agreement with the company.

The two companies will work together on the software-defined perimeter (SDP) for enterprises and organizations of all sizes. The service offers cloud migration security, privilege access to resources and a secure access to cloud environments.

This collaboration will deliver a secure network as a service which gives businesses improve their network security.

SonicWall president and CEO Bill Conner said, “We are excited to partner with Perimeter 81. Perimeter 81 offers a holistic and cloud-agnostic solution which gives businesses with consumable networking capabilities and advanced security measures.

This is the second investment closed by Perimeter 81 this year. The startup previously secured $5m in funding from Spring Ventures and others.

The equity was raised to accelerate its growth and boost sales and marketing efforts.
