Emailage teams up with Featurespace to boost e-commerce and financial services’ cybersecurity

Financial services organizations just got another way to beef up their protection against online application fraud as Emailage, the online fraud prevention and email risk assessment company, has signed a partnership with Featurespace, the risk detection and fraud prevention company.

Featurespace will integrate its ARIC platform with Emailage’s global consortium of data and risk assessment scores to detect and report application fraud in real time. The hope is that this will boost the accuracy of customer authentication to identify and defend against fraudsters acting as legitimate customers at new account opening.

Essentially, Emailage uses its technology to generate digital profiles to create fraud risk score. It does that by leveraging data from users’ email addresses and running it through its software.

These identities will now, through the partnership, also be fed though the ARIC platform, enhancing the machine learning models and rules used to automatically identify risk and catch new attacks as they happen.

Tim White, chief partnership officer at Emailage, stated that both companies are innovating and growing, which made the partnership an ideal opportunity.

Featurespace has previously teamed up with TSB, the retail banking company.
