Having achieved its unicorn status in February, SentinelOne is now said to be worth $3bn.
The Israeli cybersecurity powerhouse is currently in the process of raising a new round worth between $150m and $200m at a $3bn valuation, according to sources familiar with the matter speaking with Calcalist.
Sequoia Capital is reported to be the lead investor of the upcoming round that is also said to be backed by many of the company’s previous backers. The new funding would mark SentinelOne’s sixth cash injection and make it one of the biggest cybersecurity ventures in the world.
SentinelOne secured $200m in its Series E round in February, which pushed its valuation to $1.1bn.
Venture capital and private equity firm Insight Partners led the round. Other investments to the round came from Tiger Global Management, Qualcomm Ventures LLC, Vista Public Strategies of Vista Equity Partners, Third Point Ventures and several previous investors.
