Confluera, an autonomous detection and response platform for cyberattacks, has closed its Series B round on $20m.
The round was led by Icon Ventures and as part of the deal, the investment firm’s general partner Preeti Rathi will join the company’s board of directors.
Funding to the Series B also came from Harpoon Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, John W. Thompson and Lane Bess.
This investment follows its $9m Series A round and its launch out of stealth in 2019.
With the fresh funds, the company will look to accelerate the development of its solution.
Confluera leverages autonomous detection and response capabilities to change the security paradigm and help intercept attacks before the damage can be made. The platform operates in real-time and helps security analysts to be more proactive in their defence.
Confluera co-founder and CEO Abhijit Ghosh said, “Confluera’s growth comes at a critical juncture for the security industry, when a new normal is shaping up across all verticals.
“Now more than ever before, we see the need for a platform that has end-to-end visibility across the enterprise infrastructure to identify cyberattacks in real time and mitigate them. Our customer traction demonstrates the latent market demand for innovation in autonomous capabilities to protect enterprise assets.”
