March Capital Partners is seeking $410m for its third venture capital fund, just months after closing its sophomore vehicle.
The fund, March Capital Partners Fund III, has yet to register any committed capital, according to the latest US Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
Back in January, March Capital held the $300m final close for its second investment vehicle. The fundraise had been comprised of two vehicles, Fund II and Opportunity Fund II.
It is unclear whether the firm’s latest fundraise will also be split across two.
The California-based investor looks to back early-stage companies in the mobile, enterprise, infrastructure, gaming and other growth sectors.
Its portfolio includes a number of FinTech companies. Earlier in the year, the firm participated in the $21m Series B round of SpyCloud. The company helps prevent account takeovers by identifying exposed employee and customer accounts or passwords as early as possible and alerting companies to remediate this.
Other companies in its portfolio include blockchain-based security solution Xage Security, endpoint protection service CrowdStrike, and transaction fraud prevention company Forter.
March Capital closed its debut fund two years ago on $240m.
