KYC Portal’s embedded email function is designed to reduce manual effort when collecting information for onboarding new clients.
One of the toughest parts of the due diligence is collecting the information on clients and ensuring they send the correct documents and fill in questionnaires. This manual process requires many emails to be sent, with some documents needing to be manually sent and signed. When this is all together, someone must physically go through the documents and assess the risk.
KYC Portal claims it can improve this process to be done seamlessly and remotely.
It said, “The only information you need to collect initially, is their email address and mobile number. Once you have these stored in KYCP, you can send your subject direct secure links via email, through KYCP.”
Customer access is protected by SSL and through two-factor authentication on their mobile phones. When verified, they can fill in the required information, download documents, scan them and upload them.
The company can define the fields of questionnaires and the required documents. The documents can also be linked with mail merge, meaning templates are automatically prepopulated with the merged fields of the application.
KYC Portal added, “All this while being linked to your KYC Portal’s back-end; the system is auditing everything that is being submitted and assessing your risk, in real-time based on the values and information that the subject has submitted.”
Other functions include the ability to request a real-time face-to-face video interview with subjects and give B2B clients access to the customer outreach tool.
