Hawk AI, a software developer for issuers, banks, FinTechs and payment firms, has joined the Visa Fintech Partner Connect program.
The program helps Visa’s issuing clients discover vetted and curated technology providers to optimize their innovative digital products and services.
Through the deal, Visa’s financial services clients will gain access to Hawk AI’s real-time, cloud-native platform. This will empower them to streamline and automate their financial crime prevention operations through a highly flexible API interface.
Hawk AI’s explainable AI engine allows compliance teams to drastically reduce false positive rates, reducing the hours of wasted hours spent on irrelevant work.
As part of the deal, Hawk AI has gained the Visa Ready certification. This means clients can be confident that Hawk AI’s technology offers effective compliance while detecting financial crime more accurately.

Hawk AI helps financial institutions better handle compliance through comprehensive AML surveillance. Its fully modular, cloud-native and machine learning-powered solution can detect suspicious behaviour in real-time and alert teams to investigate the occurrences.
It has been a busy year for the company. It recently signed a deal with fellow RegTech company Know Your Customer. Through the deal, Hawk AI will combine its transaction monitoring capabilities with Know Your Customer’s digital onboarding and business KYC solutions to help companies harmonise and centralise their AML programs.
Another recent partnership from Hawk AI was an agreement with Diebold Nixdorf. The RegTech company is helping Diebold Nixdorf expand the reach of its AML solution.
