Entoro Capital partners with RegTech firm Securrency

Securrency, a RegTech looking to streamline regulatory compliance for token offerings, has partnered with Entoro Capital.

The technology-enabled investment bank and broker said the partnership will allow its clients to conduct secure and regulatory-compliant Security Token Offerings (STOs).

Securrency will provide technology services to Entoro to enable seamless enrolment, subscription, tokenisation, escrow services and token issuance services to issuers and investors through the Entoro client portal.

Entoro’s managing partner, James Row, said: “Entoro is proud to work with Securrency to provide a secure and compliant way to trade tokenised securities. Our cutting-edge platform, powered by Securrency’s best-in-class technology, opens up new investment opportunities for our clients – in a safe and secure way. This new partnership establishes Entoro’s leadership and stability in an unpredictable and rapidly-changing market.”

Securrency’s Compliance Aware Token embeds regulatory and transactional rules in a compliance layer to facilitate legally-compliant securities offerings in the United States and globally. Its protocol can be utilised on the Ethereum, Stellar, Ripple, EOS and other distributed ledgers, as well as on legacy systems.

The RegTech’s Compliance Aware Token will add ‘critical, yet highly efficient, security and compliance’ to the STO process, meaning Entoro can now facilitate securities offerings on virtually any distributed ledger or legacy financial services platform.

“In Securrency’s comprehensive technology suite, Entoro sees that we have applied the same rigor to process, functionality, compliance and security,” Dan Doney, CEO of Securrency, added. We are pleased to be working with Entoro to allow issuers and purchasers of tokenized securities to participate confidently in this new market.”

Securrency was formed in 2015 by US national security and technology experts to enable the free trading of previously illiquid asset classes through compliance and interoperability. It offers FinTech/RegTech tools either as individual modules or as a customised venue for listing securities via Security Token Offerings (STOs) while providing global KYC (Know Your Customer), identity-proofing, user-credentialing, and jurisdictional compliance for access to investors.
