Corrata integrates with IBM’s Security App

Cybersecurity platform Corrata has integrated with the IBM Security App Exchange ecosystem of partners.

In doing this, Corrata’s mobile threat defence solution and IBM’s MaaS360 will be able to connect with Watson, IBM’s unified end-point management solution. This will offer customers deeper visibility, control and security for enterprise mobile devices.

MaaS360 solution helps businesses to manage and secure everything between endpoint and end-users with the support of AI technology. The addition of Corrata’s solution will help enterprises to access stronger mobile security, with better mobile protections, and better transparency over mobile data usage.

Founded in 2016, Corrata uses machine learning and threat detection software to identify threats and block access to any malicious sites or services. It also monitors behaviours and identify any vulnerabilities which pose a security risk.

Corrata CEO Colm Healy said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with IBM and the integration with IBM MaaS360.

“Together our two solutions will provide enterprises with a powerful solution for protection, visibility, and control for mobile devices, minimizing potential risks, reducing costs and ensuring peace of mind. We are very excited for the benefits that this collaboration will bring to our and IBM’s customers.”

Last year, Corrata pulled in €1.3m in a funding round which was led by Delta Partners. The capital was also supported by various angel investors and was raised to support product development and sales and marketing efforts.

IBM recently launched an AI OpenScale solution which is designed to address key challenges of the adoption of AI technologies. It provides companies with tools to manage AI transparently across its entire lifecycle.
