Bleach Cyber secures $2m pre-seed investment for startup cybersecurity solutions

Bleach Cyber, a burgeoning force in the cybersecurity space for startups and small businesses, has successfully closed a $2m pre-seed funding round.

Established in 2022 by cybersecurity expert and former CISO Craig Goodwin, alongside Head of Product & Technology Steve Daniels, this new capital injection is set to propel Bleach Cyber towards substantial growth.

The pre-seed funding attracted contributions from a host of prestigious investors including BlueWing Ventures, Everywhere VC, The Fund Austin, Rain Tree Roots Capital, Concept Ventures, Tynrose, and Acadian Capital Ventures. Angel investors such as Don Douglas, Scott Nicholson, Nick Santora, Sam Murdoch, and Bill Tyndall also participated.

Bleach Cyber distinguishes itself by offering an ‘unapologetically simple’ platform that democratizes powerful cybersecurity tools for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). By simplifying cybersecurity operations, Bleach Cyber allows businesses to rapidly integrate with existing tools, swiftly identify potential vulnerabilities, and implement effective remediations for compliance requirements and risks.

Bleach Cyber is a Techstars 2023 graduate and has been quickly gaining traction in the market. In just a few months, the platform has already attracted over 500 companies, underscoring the market’s receptivity to simpler, more effective cybersecurity solutions.
