AppSecOps firm ArmorCode has bagged $8m in a seed funding round led by Cervin Ventures.
The round also saw participation from Sierra Ventures, Tau Ventures and a range of unnamed angel investors.
Founded in 2020, ArmorCode has developed an AppSecOps platform that the company claims enables organisations to ship securely and ship fast. The platform, ArmorCode claims, provides security and development teams with the visibility, actionable insights, automation and integration needed to build and scale effective and efficient AppSec programs across entire organisations while cutting cyber risk and exposure.
According to ArmorCode, it will use the influx of funding to extend its AppSecOps platform capabilities and expand its go-to-market efforts.
ArmorCode co-founder and CEO Nikhil Gupta said, “Enterprise applications have created a new set of security challenges, leaving the door wide open for cyber risks and attacks. The ArmorCode AppSecOps platform, with its 80+ out of the box integrations, simplifies the process of shipping applications securely with a single platform, consolidating insights from multiple AppSec tools, and scaling the DevSecOps processes needed to keep up with and manage risk.
“With this new funding we will expand our leadership position. We will invest in go-to-market initiatives to democratise application security and enable organisations of all sizes to ship applications securely and ship them fast.”
