KYC Portal CLM launches SaaS model to enhance compliance management

KYC Portal CLM, a provider of end-to-end client lifecycle management solutions, has recently announced the launch of its innovative SaaS model.

This strategic move is designed to empower organisations of varying sizes to manage their regulatory compliance obligations more efficiently and cost-effectively, providing enhanced flexibility, scalability, and accessibility.

Originally launched in February 2017 in London, KYC Portal CLM has traditionally been offered as an on-premise solution, requiring clients to host the platform either on physical servers or cloud subscriptions that they manage. This model has suited many clients who prefer direct control over their infrastructure.

The newly introduced SaaS model offers a significant shift, providing clients the ability to leverage the robust capabilities of KYC Portal CLM without the need for significant upfront infrastructure investments or ongoing IT maintenance. By hosting the platform in the cloud, specifically over Microsoft Azure, KYC Portal ensures that clients can focus on their core compliance functions, benefiting from the latest technological advancements in real time.

Moreover, the flexibility of the SaaS model extends to customizing the service based on the specific needs of each client. According to Ivan Bonello, Co-Founder and CTO of KYC Portal, clients can tailor their environments, resource types, usage expectations, and even the geographical location of their data storage, making the SaaS model highly adaptable.

While the SaaS offering marks a new chapter for KYC Portal CLM, the company has made it clear that the on-premise option will continue to be available. This dual approach caters to a broader range of client preferences and operational strategies.

Nickii Mallia, Business Development Manager at KYC Portal, highlighted the benefits of this transition: “We’re excited to make KYC Portal CLM more accessible and adaptable to our prospects and clients through this SaaS model. In today’s regulatory landscape, organisations need fast, secure, and scalable solutions to ensure compliance, and our SaaS offering delivers exactly that. This move will allow us to better serve both large enterprises and smaller organisations looking to streamline their KYC and AML processes without sacrificing quality or security.”
