Swiss RegTech IMTF expands APAC team with Wenger hire

Swiss RegTech IMTF, a provider of software and IT services for financial institutions, has bolstered its Asia-Pacific team with the hire of Andreas Wenger.

Wenger will take on the role of APAC General Manager, focusing his activities on meeting the customer demand for IMTF’s flagship solution ICOS/2.

Its Client Life Cycle Management solution (ICOS/2) offers a fully digitized onboarding and client life cycle management experience. It covers all requirements end-to-end, from intuitive capturing, compliance, risk management, advanced identity screening, smart KYC search & filtering, automated form filling & contract generation, case management and approval workflow.

“Our ambition is to support APAC financial institutions of all types to enhance their digital propositions and client experience,” says Mark Büsser, President of IMTF. “Firms wishing to maintain a competitive edge will need to invest in innovative (Regulatory) technology to both assure new and ongoing client relations, as well as keep up with changing regulations.

“We have a deep understanding of today’s challenging financial environment and an extensive expertise to support banks in meeting their needs for evolution, efficiency and faster time to market.”

Wenger joins the firm after spending seven years in both Singapore and Switzerland with Swiss consulting outfit Synpulse, where he was an associate partner. He will be tasked with supporting banks, asset managers, and insurances in their digital transformation. Wenger will also be managing projects with IMTF’s leading Client Lifecycle Management, Onboarding, KYC & AML automation applications.

Headquartered in Switzerland, IMTF operates worldwide serving clients in over 50 countries via subsidiaries in Europe, Middle-East, North Africa and APAC (Singapore).

The company develops, markets and implements professional software applications for the automation of key business processes in the areas of client onboarding & lifecycle management, secure document management, AML / tax / brokerage compliance and fraud prevention.
