Zenity, a pioneering company in the realm of securing enterprise copilots and low-code development, has recently announced a significant investment led by M12, Microsoft’s Venture Fund.
The investment amount was undisclosed, with M12 leading the round.
Zenity specializes in a crucial segment of cybersecurity, focusing primarily on securing enterprise AI copilots and low-code development platforms. These technologies are quickly becoming central to business operations worldwide, offering speed and efficiency but also presenting new security challenges.
The funds from this investment will be utilized to accelerate Zenity’s growth and enhance their joint go-to-market strategy with Microsoft. This strategic influx of capital is aimed at further developing Zenity’s innovative security solutions that ensure the safe deployment of enterprise applications, which are often created outside of traditional IT safeguards.
In addition to expanding its core capabilities, Zenity has observed a worrying trend in enterprise environments. Their researchers have identified an alarming rate of serious security vulnerabilities in applications developed using copilots and low-code platforms, highlighting the critical need for Zenity’s solutions.
Zenity CEO and co-founder Ben Kliger shared his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to be partnering with M12 to continue our mission of helping enterprises securely unleash the use of AI copilots and low-code development.
“Partnering with Microsoft is a strategic move for Zenity as Microsoft’s global reach, robust technology stack, and commitment to innovation align perfectly with our vision. This investment allows us to leverage Microsoft’s resources to accelerate our growth and work closely on a joint go-to-market strategy, enhancing the security and success of our mutual customers.”
