Zeidler Group has updated its leadership and organisational infrastructure to help further connect the company’s wide-ranging capabilities to advance future growth.
The revamp will see Jasminka Makovec appointed as head of the regulatory services division. Makovec has been with Zeidler since 2019 and previously worked for Google and the University of Zagreb.
The newly formed regulatory services division will provide solutions for counterparty due diligence, fund registrations, facility agents and ongoing fund governance, and combines regulatory and legal oversight with technology to enable assets managers to manage their compliance obligations more simply.
Heading Zeidler’s legal services division will be Valentin Chantereau, who previously joined Zeidler as head of legal for Paris in 2021. Chantereau holds over 13 years of experience within the asset management and regulatory compliance spaces.
Zeidler’s legal services division encompasses legal advisory solutions for asset management ranging from fund structuring, compliance services, bespoke legal advice, company secretary services, marketing material reviews and more.
Gemma Capelo will take on the role of head of Zeidler’s reporting services divison. Capelo joined Zeidler as senior associate and product owner last year and holds experience with legal technology as well as leading and directing documentation production and all matter relating to factsheets.
Prashant Patil will maintain his position as head of Zeidler’s software engineering division, who has been at the helm of Zeidler’s software engineering department since 2018. This department is responsible for maintaining and developing Zeidler’s digital platform, Zeidler Swift – which consists of modules for legal and compliance oversight to ensure asset managers can keep ahead of regulatory changes and meet their obligations effectively.
