Chinese point-of-sale (POS) solutions provider Yunnex has raised $45m in a Series B round of funding. The capital comes from Restaurant chain Ajisen Ramen and GSR Ventures.
The Guangzhou-based company offers a connected POS device that in addition to traditional payment functions can also integrate bar codes, coupons, messaging, e-commerce platforms and sales management software.
The company operates in 200 cities around China and counts Ajisen Ramen as an existing client alongside Ritz Carlton hotels and Vanke’s Yacht club.
The round brings Yunnex’s total funding to $61m with it previously raising $16m in a Series A round led by FH Capital in November 2015.
The company says the capital will fuel research and development, as well as market expansion.
