Veri Doc Global launches ICO to verify documents

Veri Doc Global, which looks to verify documents and prevent them from being forged, has launched its ICO.

The company will launch the initial coin offering today and it looking to raise just over $31m, with the hard cap set at 50,000ETH. Its pre sale has already collected over $12m, bringing in 2000ETH according to its website.

Veri Doc Global claims to be a powerful software and QR Code Validation system for document protection solutions. It is used to ensure the integrity of an original document is kept in-tact through the use of a public-key cryptography and the powerful blockchain technology. It isn’t only designed for documents and can be used for verifying a product’s authenticity according to the company. These include baby formulas, pharmaceuticals, collectibles and expensive luxury goods.

The company’s roadmap on its website covers everything that is planned for the system through the end of 2018. According to the roadmap, the company was founded in May of 2015. The first patent for the company was started and that was back in February of 2016.

Going into January of 2017, the first MVP was created, which stands for Minimum Viable Product. And in April of 2017, the system was accepted into the IBM Global Entrepreneur Program before being, it launched in India in September 2017.

In December of last year, Ethereum launched their first test net. The public token sale or ICO for the platform is now scheduled for the second quarter of this year. And so is the Main Net Launch of Ethereum, with the end of the year bringing the platform to a worldwide expansion.

Earlier this week, SpringCM, a document and contract lifecycle management platform, updated its features and capabilities to help its customers comply with GDPRThe company said it aims to help its users meet the impending demands of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which acts as an addendum and overhaul of the EU’s existing data privacy laws.
