Valtix raises over $14m in new funding from trio of venture firms

Valtix, a cloud-native network security platform, has raised more than $14m in a new funding round from Trinity Ventures, Vertex Ventures and Wing Venture Capital.

As companies are moving towards cloud technology and launching new applications on it, security teams have increased difficulties to protect the data, Valtix said. Its solution is a cloud native service which aims to lower the challenges of monitoring and securing cloud information.

Its technology automatically discovers new applications running in the cloud and follows them to ensure they meet the correct inline security rules and protections are applied. By leveraging the Valtix solution, a company can configure and manage their multi-cloud environments and use a firewall designed to cover all environments.

Valtix co-founder and CEO Vishal Jain said, “As today’s enterprises move to the cloud and face multi-cloud sprawl, they have a difficult security decision to make – being agile and naked or rigid and secure.

“Organizations need a solution that provides the enterprise network security they need to move at the ‘speed of the cloud.’ We founded Valtix to offer a third choice – a set of security services built specifically for the cloud that can unify multi-cloud security for greater visibility, agility, and performance.”
