Ukraine’s government is planning new cryptocurrency laws

Mikhail Fedorov, deputy prime minister of digital transformation in the Ukraine, is set to collaborate with the country’s finance ministry to launch a new legal framework for cryptocurrencies.

That’s according to Alexander Bornyakov, the inbound deputy in the nation’s Digital Transformation Ministry, citew by Crowdfund Insider.

He believes creating a legal framework for digital money will be a boost the Ukraine, enabling stakeholders in the industry to get out of “the grey zone start paying taxes.”

He added that Ukraine’s governmental bodies could also benefit from using blockchain technology in its registries.
