Trustpage snaps up $5m to bring trust in security

Trustpage, a centralised hub designed to improve security with secure collaboration and communication, has scored $5m in its seed funding round.

Bonfire Ventures, Ludlow Ventures and Detroit Venture Partners served as the lead investor, with commitments also coming from Entrée Capital, Basement Fund and GTMfund.

With the fresh funds, the company hopes to hire more talent, develop new features like AI-assisted reviews and expand its suite of services.

Software companies use the platform to manage, share and collaborate with customers on their complete security posture.

Trustpage’s Trust Centers transform how companies collaborate and communicate on their security posture with customers and prospects. The end-to-end solution acts as a single pane of glass over a company’s stack of security features and policies, giving customers and prospects insights on what methods are keeping them safe.

Chase Lee, Trustpage CEO and founder, said, “Trust in software is broken. Trustpage transforms the often painful process of security reviews into a fast and easy collaboration. By empowering companies to easily earn and build the trust of their customers, we help transform security into a competitive advantage and maximize revenue opportunities.”

The RegTech company claims cybercrime will cost the world over $6trn in 2021, with global costs expected to grow 15% year-over-year.

Speaking on the investment, Bonfire Ventures partner Brett Queener said, “Trustpage takes a product-led approach to security that helps companies turn what is often considered a liability into a competitive advantage.

“Software companies must earn the trust of their customers to scale, and Trustpage eliminates outdated processes through AI-powered collaboration that makes security reviews faster and easier for everyone.”
