Subscription management solution provider TRG Screen has closed an undisclosed investment from Pamlico Capital.
As part of the deal, Polaris Partners will divest its stake in the company and end its holding period, which began in 2014.
New York-headquartered TRG Screen offers software solutions which can monitor and manage subscription spend and usage across an organisation. One of its solutions is a spend and revenue management tool which ensures processes are compliant, transparent and cost optimised.
Its other solutions include usage management, consultancy, enquiry management, enquiry processing, subscription analytics, license tracking and data compliance.
Through this new support, TRG Screen hopes to accelerate its investment into its spend and usage capabilities. It will also look to build new solutions to improve the subscription lifecycle, as well as expand into new expense categories and client segments.
Pamlico partner Walker Simmons and vice president Jay Henry will join the TRG board of directors. In these roles, they will work with the existing management team to expand the company’s client base, product range, and industry coverage.
TRG Screen CEO Steve Matthews said, “This is a very exciting time for our company. The subscription economy is creating a dramatic shift towards subscription-based services and at TRG Screen we are uniquely positioned to help our clients optimize their spend and usage across their full spectrum of subscription-based services including market data, software licenses and research spend.
“Pamlico’s commitment to support our growth will ensure that we can continue to deliver innovative solutions to our global client base.”
At the start of the year, TRG Screen acquired and merged with Screen Group in order to offer a wider suite of spend management solutions.
Screen Group delivers a range of specialised services and solutions for the professional financial information services industry. Its technology helps to provide support for businesses processes such as auditing, compliance, contract management and profiling, among others.
