Tech Nation has opened applications to its second cybersecurity growth programme which will help 20 startups scale their businesses.
The new cohort will comprise of 20 pre-Series A UK cybersecurity startups. The programme will last six months and offers more than 60 hours of support from 20 scale coaches.
During Tech Nation’s Cyber 2.0, companies will access founder-focussed workshops educating participants on overcoming growth barriers such as culture, talent and international expansion. Members will also have access to meetups, peer networking and an international trip to gain insights on international expansion.
Criteria for applying companies include a cybersecurity-focused platform, a UK headquarters, over 10,000 employees and have closed a seed round or have a £500,000 revenue if bootstrapped. Applications close on February 17 2020.
Tech Nation Cyber lead Ollie Bone said, “A first year of any programme is a challenge, and it’s a credit to both Tech Nation and the amazing cohort that 2019 was such a success. In the last decade, Cyber Security has shifted from obscurity in the public consciousness, to being very much on the world stage. Cyber weapons are now part of the modern arsenal and the next decade will see Cyber Security become a tangible and omnipresent threat.
“Therefore, we embark on our second year looking to make a disproportionately large impact on the companies we support. We encourage the very best to come forward as we hope UK companies can be at the forefront of protecting individuals in the years to come.”
The inaugural cohort included security awareness software CybSafe and democratized cybersecurity solution Red Sift.
