Sepio Systems will offer the clients of Tech Data and SHI International access to its cybersecurity technology through new partnership deals.
The agreements will allow the customers of the companies to use the Sepio Prime and Sepio Agents solutions to manage the security risk from uncontrolled peripheral devices and accessories in their network.
Clients can select and bundle Sepio solutions to ease and increase security coverage.
Sepio is an end-to-end solution provider designed to detect and mitigate hardware-based attacks including rogue peripherals, invisible network devices, and manipulated firmware. Its Prime service is a software-only solution and is deployed in 20 mid-sized to large banks, insurance, and telecom companies in the US, Brazil, Israel, and Singapore.
Its technology can combat hardware-based attacks by profiling systems based on physical layer characteristics and using enterprise-wide policy provisioning to mitigate risk. Additionally, the company provides up-to-date threat intelligence, creating actionable information and real-time incident tracking.
Sepio Systems CEO Yossi Appleboum said, “As part of our continuous effort to ease our customer’s process of complying with the NIST standards and guidelines for securing Information Systems, we are excited to team with Tech Data and SHI.
“Packing Sepio’s deep visibility capabilities into devices and hardware assets together with a granular policy enforcement tool greatly reduces the cyber risk organizations are facing. For the first time, Tech Data customers and partners can deploy a simple and robust software solution that addresses more than 15 controls from the NIST 800-53 Special Publication.”
Tech Data and SHI both offer a marketplace for technology products such as printers, computers, and software products like databases.
