Palo Alto Networks and IBM have teamed up to provide AI-powered security solutions, aiming to address the escalating cybersecurity challenges posed by the expanding enterprise technology landscape.

IBM meanwhile is a leading provider of hybrid cloud and AI solutions and offers a wide range of technology services, consulting, and enterprise solutions to help businesses navigate digital transformation and enhance their security posture.
The partnership entails Palo Alto Networks acquiring IBM’s QRadar SaaS assets, including intellectual property rights, to further bolster its Cortex XSIAM platform with advanced AI-powered threat protection capabilities. IBM will continue to support on-premises QRadar clients and collaborate with Palo Alto Networks to ensure a smooth transition for migrating clients.

IBM Consulting will serve as a preferred Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) for Palo Alto Networks customers, with plans to establish a joint Security Operations Center and Cyber Range to enhance security capabilities and customer experiences.
