Multi-cloud governance and compliance company OpsCompass has collected $6.78m in its Series A funding round which was led by Elsewhere Partners.
Other contributions to the round came from Dundee Venture Capital, Invest Nebraska, M25, Nelnet and Nebraska Angels.
Capital from the round will be used to accelerate product development, scale go-to-market capabilities and leverage new trends and market demands.
OpsCompass has built a software-as-a-service solution which gives real-time actionable insights for compliance, security and cost management. Its three core products are compliance analysis, cost anticipation and security posture.
Financial services leverage the platform to automate their online security to identify risky misconfigurations and receive alerts on operations. Its compliance analysis solution monitors changes in regulations and identifies any compliance issues with CIS, NIST, HITRUST, FedRAMP, PCI DSS and more.
Elsewhere Partners vice president Sloane Child said, “Our team has monitored this industry for some time and seen a significant change in market demand for cloud governance and compliance.
“Moreover, we have been following leaders in the space who are delivering inventive, cloud-native solutions to enterprise clients. OpsCompass clearly understands this market and has already established impressive traction by landing numerous marquee customers.”
In conjunction with the deal, Elsewhere Operating Advisor Kevin Cunningham will join the OpsCompass board of directors.
