NICE Actimize’s market surveillance technology has been tapped by UK-based multi-asset broker Olivetree Financial, to support its financial crime strategy.
As part of the partnership, Olivetree will leverage NICE Actimize’s SURVEIL-X Markets Surveillance solution to monitor market abuse and keep track of regulatory change. It will monitor over 15 market abuse typologies.
Through the market surveillance technology, Olivetree Financial hopes to address regulatory obligations across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, futures and options. It hopes this will avoid costly fines, meet regulatory obligations and preserve its reputations.
With advanced market visualisation, enabled through SURVEIL-X Markets Surveillance, the firm can identify potential trading abuse by displaying alerts together with market activity and firm transactions.
Speaking on the partnership, Olivetree Financial CEO Sam Ruiz said, “NICE Actimize offers an integrated surveillance solution that will help support our business as it expands and provides different product offerings.
“We believe that it offers excellent value and a significant enhancement to our existing capabilities which will enable us to refine our detection capabilities even further. With a strong track record of first-class delivery and support, NICE Actimize should be a great partner for the growing Olivetree Financial’s business.”
NICE Actimize recently launched its X-Sight Entity Risk SaaS solution, which produces a single risk score that enables a financial institution to get a deeper understanding of clients. This solution, which is powered by AI, machine learning, entity resolution and network analytics, improves the effectiveness of AML, fraud prevention and other security processes.
This tool provides data intelligence from a range of data sources to ensure an entity profile is always accurate.
