IoT security provider Nozomi Networks has secured an investment from Telefónica Innovation Ventures.
The investment will see Spanish telecommunications firm Telefónica increase its work with Nozomi.
Nozomi is available in 16 countries and offers businesses real-time visualisation of cyber risks, as well as managing and improving the resilience of operations.
Its product suite include: cybersecurity, assessing risk in manufacturing, automating asset inventory, detecting malware, visibility into supply chains, situational awareness, ICS cyber incidents mitigation, remote access monitoring and more.
Nozomi Networks CEO Edgard Capdevielle said, “The support of Telefónica – one of the world’s largest international telecommunications providers and a leader in developing and delivering security services – helps strengthen global awareness for Nozomi Networks technology.
“Telefónica fully understands that it’s no longer enough simply to protect IT networks. It’s also essential to invest in detecting, monitoring and mitigating OT and IoT-related risks.”
To date, Nozomi Networks has raised a total of $54m in funding, with backers including GGV Capital, Lux Capital, Energize Ventures and Planven Investments.
