NICE Actimize an autonomous financial crime management platform, has joined the UK Financial Conduct Authority’s Global Anti-Money Laundering and Financial Crime TechSprint.
The programme will display a range of innovations in the space including advanced analytics and automation to improve the fight against money laundering and financial crime. The TechSprint is five days and will have participants from 60 firms, spanning 10 countries, and will bring together regulators and law enforcement agencies from the United States, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
The aim is to bring together various players to collaborate on specified problems and use cases through dialogue and building prototype technology solutions.
There are a number of different events happening during the five days including a TechTalk, and demo day. A TechFair Show will give four companies, including Nice Actimize, to participate in a proof-of-concept presentation.
NICE Actimize CEO Craig Costigan said, “As financial services organizations adopt new technologies to streamline their AML/KYC compliance programs, we look forward to sharing our experiences and insights in automation and anti-money laundering applications with global regulators and the anti-money laundering community.
“Our commitment to innovation in anti-money laundering continues as we introduce exciting new technologies in automation and machine learning to our portfolio, and we welcome this opportunity to network within the collaborative environment of the FCA’s TechSprint proceedings.”
The RegTech offers a range of tools for anti-money laundering, fraud management, authentication services and financial markets compliance.
Earlier in the year, Nice Actimize released its cloud-based PSD2 readiness fraud management solution. To help companies prepare for the September deadline of PSD2, the startup released to SaaS service to help financial institutions access fraud analytics.
The tool offers end-to-end fraud management capabilities which boast real-time transaction risk analysis, cross-channel fraud detection, multi-payment coverage, and fraud alert and case management.
