Nexusguard & NG partner to protect MENA region from DDoS attacks

Nexusguard, a DDoS security solution provider, has teamed up with NG Crossing, a telecommunications company with a presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) markets.

The company’s anti-DDoS solution will ‘significantly enhance’ NG Crossing’s cybersecurity service offerings, enabling it to address end-customers’ security challenges. NG Crossing said the partnership will complete its cybersecurity strategy and drive its cybersecurity business.

Nexusguard will also extend its presence across the MENA markets through the deal, which will also lay the foundation for Nexusguard to strengthen its position in the communications, government and finance verticals.

George Ezzat, CEO of NG Crossing, said: “We were not looking for a technical platform or solution for DDoS mitigation. Rather, we wanted a partner exactly like Nexusguard that could provide us with a solution revolving around a people-, process- and technology-centric transformational framework.”

Founded in 2008, Nexusguard a cloud-based distributed denial of service (DDoS) security solution provider fighting malicious internet attacks. Its solution is optimised for an organisation’s unique IT environment, covering traffic patterns, user behaviors, infrastructure and resources, security policies, compliance requirements, and more.

The business claims to protect websites, applications, APIs, and network infrastructures from DDoS attacks and hacking. It also aims to improve the user experience by reducing page load times, and leverage in-depth traffic and threat monitoring to support strategic planning.

To protect against SSL-based attacks, SSL decryption and C/R mechanisms are enforced on malicious requests, its SSL cert management tool is both PCI DSS and ISO 27001 compliant.

Nexusguard’s automated threat detection also enables an adaptive security architecture, simultaneously addressing detection, prediction, prevention, and response.

Andy Ng, CEO of Nexusguard, said: “The NG Crossing partnership not only enables us to further expand our global footprint, it also helps telcos and enterprises in the MENA region to defeat the threats posed by DDoS attacks.

“As well as purpose-built infrastructure and proprietary technologies, our success also resides in the expertise and experience we have gained over the years as a pure-play DDoS mitigation solution provider focused on people, process and technology.”
