New Frontier Group partners with Mambu to improve its digital banking solution

Banking solution provider New Frontier Group has partnered with SaaS banking engine developer Mambu to improve its digital banking offering.

Mambu’s engine will power NFG’s opti-channel digital banking solution to create an online and automated digital banking offering which helps financial institutions with digitalisation.

Austria-based New Frontier Group is a digital banking platform which offers financial institutions a range of tools and software to digitise and automate customer facing processes. The industries it supports include banking, insurance, retail, telecommunications, manufacturing, government and transportation, and others.

Some of its solutions include billing, fraud management, banking and insurance core systems, business process management, big data and smart analysis, and data warehousing, among others. Its solutions also offer personalised real-time services to customers and an easy onboarding process across all digital channels.

Through the new integrations with Mambu, it will be able to provide this in one cloud-native, API-enabled infrastructure, supporting the integration with other solutions.

Launched in 2011, Mambu is a SaaS banking engine which is based on cloud and open API technology. Its technology helps institutions to launch new business ventures, digitise operations, create new product and expand to new markets.

Some of its clients include OakNorth Bank, N26, PayU, new10, Mynt, Kredittech, wenance and ferratum.

New Frontier Group managing director Gregor Bierent said, “We can now deliver an end-to-end solution from online onboarding to loans administration, KYC and availability across Opti-channels, ranging from mobile to watches which are all managed through a single interface. Through the intuitive and configurable combined solution, institutions can offer their customers a rich and seamless experience.”

Earlier in the week, online chatbot developer Plum integrated its solution with challenger banks Monzo and Starling Bank, making use of the new open banking directive. The deal, which was made possible through a partnership with TrueLayer, marks the first chatbot to integrate its solution with challengers.
