Identity solution developer HID Global has released a new identity and access management platform in the cloud.
The new HID Authentication Service is part of its cloud identity platform and will enable businesses to manage and use identities within a secure cloud model. Its current multi-tenant cloud authentication service delivers large-scale onboarding or users and easy authentication for identity and access management within a range of industries.
HID Authentication was specifically built for IT teams to manage identities in mixed environments. The multifactor authentication solution will continue to build in new services and gives companies a centralised audit log.
HID Global vice president Brad Jarvis said, “HID Global continues its move toward cloud solutions with the addition of new IAM services, expanding the offering with a unifying technology platform for our millions of users.

Last year, HID Global released a new subscription-based model for identity and access management software. HID ActivOne is an end-to-end digital identity management and authentication solution to help businesses verify identities and secure data.
