Identification and authentication platform GIACT Systems has formed a strategic partnership with Equifax to improve fraud prevention for customers.
GIACT’s EPIC platform helps companies protect themselves from a number of types of fraud across the entire lifecycle of the customer. Its services cover real-time enrolment, payment, identity, compliance and mobile fraud prevention.
Equifax supplies the fraud detection and identity space with streams of consumer identity and behavioural data along with innovative analytics to drive insights across industries and organisations.
In working together, the companies will be able to better help their customers tackle identity authentication challenges and fraud threats.
GIACT co-founder and CEO Melissa Townsley said, “Our mission is to protect businesses and consumers at every touchpoint, which requires comprehensive data. The alliance with Equifax provides important access to some of the most complete and unique set of data assets available in the market.
“Whether it’s protecting enrollment and payments, or assisting customers to meet regulatory requirements, GIACT is committed to ongoing protection and support.”
GIACT recently established a strategic partnership with PNC Bank, and national Association to launch a new identity verification offering. The alliance sees PNC’s clients gain access to the real-time prevention and authentication tools of GIACT via a single API.
Last month, Equifax agreed to work with SecureKey Technologies to help Canadians verify their identities. SecureKey launched its Verified.Me solution in collaboration with seven Canadian financial institutions to boost online ID capabilities. As part of the new deal, users can now check their credit scores while protecting their security and privacy.
