Fincom.co, which has designed a multilingual fingerprint service, has received an investment from deep tech fund VentureIsrael and ff Venture Capital.
The RegTech company has created what it stylises as the Phonetic Fingerprint. Its technology leverages phonetic algorithms that can understand and process more than 25 languages, including transliteration and spelling mistakes. This information is run through its AI suggestion engine to match data entries on its multilingual platform.
Its streamlined data search solutions use this to offer instant and accurate AML/KYC, data mapping, entity resolution and homeland security applications.
VentureIsrael managing general partner Michael Harte said, “We believe in the significant potential of Fincom’s technology, as it reaches applications far beyond the AML market. This solution brings immediate measurable value to a range of data mapping applications.”
As part of the deal, Harte will join the Fincom board of directors.
