eSentire has formed a partnership with CrowdStrike to drive better detection and response for customers by extending the visibility across endpoint network, log and cloud environments.
By combining eSentire’s managed threat hunting capabilities with CrowdStrike’s endpoint protection and pro-active hunting services will help stop advanced threats.
In addition to this, eSentire’s MDR portfolio will now include CrowdStrike’s anti-virus solution Overwatch. The offering protects an organization’s assets no matter where their endpoints are by combining elite threat hunting with anti-virus and endpoint detection and response under a single agent to eliminate blind spots.
CrowdStrike CEO and co-founder George Kurtz said, “We are partnering with eSentire to ensure that mid-market organizations benefit from the protection of a powerful and proven MDR solution that complements our next-generation endpoint protection solution.
“Both companies are committed to delivering simplicity, efficacy and effectiveness of the most advanced endpoint protection, services and security expertise required to stop breaches.”
CrowdStrike is a cloud-native endpoint protection platform which helps prevent breaches, it claims. Leveraging AI technology, the platform protects customer from a range of threats posed to their endpoints.
Its offerings include incident response, threat prevention, service overview, and threat detection and response.
The company launched its IPO of 18 million class A shares in June 2019 at a price of $34 apiece.
CrowdStrike recently released a $20m early-stage investment fund in partnership with Accel. The vehicle will make seed and Series A investments into startups building applications on the CrowdStrike platform.
eSentire is a managed detection and response platform which helps businesses always keep their systems protected. The company offers analysis, hunts, investigations and response in real-time to help combat known and unknown threats.
