Cybersecurity focused venture capital firm TenEleven Ventures is currently in the fundraising market for its newest fund.
It is unclear what the target is for TenEleven Ventures Fund II, and there is yet to be any capital registered to the vehicle, according to the latest US Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
J.P. Morgan Securities has been outlined in the document as the placement agent for the fund.
The US-based investor focuses on the global cybersecurity sector and operates an investment alliance with KKR to access early and growth-stage deals around the world.
This fund comes hot off the heals of the close of TenEleven’s second growth fund, which has a capital pool of $140m. The vehicle closed in August last year and received a number of re-ups from firms including KKR.
Among the new backers to the fund was Temasek, which will help TenEleven Ventures to expand its investing footprint into Southeast Asia.
Earlier in the year, TenEleven contributed to the $18m Series A round of end-to-end data security and compliance platform Sonrai Security. The company can track data and users across any cloud service and third-party data sources. Its data security tools are also capable of assessing and lowering risk for identity and data relationships, as well as monitor movement and usage of data.
Late last year, the firm also supported the $30m round of third-party risk management startups CyberGRX. Other cybersecurity companies in its portfolio are CounterTack, Cylance, and Darktrace, among others.
