Commcise and Singletrack partner for MiFID II solution

Commcise, a provider of commission management, research valuation and research accounting platform, has partnered with Singletrack for MiFID II research data requirements

Singletrack, advanced CRM and data analysis specialists for the sell-side, said the partnership will enable it to offer consumption data from Singletrack customers directly to Commcise buy-side customers. MiFID II, which was implemented earlier this year, now requires buy-side participants to accurately measure, value and report every aspect of corporate access and research consumption.

Through the collaboration, Singletrack customers can automatically push clean consumption data on a daily basis, as well as consume real-time rejections and more granular interaction-level feedback.

While Commcise customers benefit from actionable intelligence including readership data and high touch services such as calls, meetings and conferences, while at the same time meeting new regulatory obligations.

“Singletrack customers want their consumption data to be made available to our buy-side customers in a secure, clean and timely manner so that their services can be most efficiently evaluated,” comments Amrish Ganatra, CEO at Commcise. “Our customers use this data to help build a defensible research budget and valuation framework. We are delighted to partner with Singletrack in what everyone agrees is a win-win solution, providing a mechanism that will further enhance the performance and efficiency of our collective customer bases.”

The majority of Commcise buy-side customers have previous research relationships with Singletrack customers. The integration puts a direct link between both of their platforms while maintaining the utmost levels of security and data confidentiality.

With headquarters in London, Singletrack develops and supplies innovative, industry-specific cloud-based CRM, client engagement and research distribution solutions to investment banks, institutional brokers and independent research providers

Commcise delivers a fully integrated cloud-based commission management platform for investment managers, which responds to the latest regulatory drivers, provides automated reconciliation, invoice management, broker voting, consumption or service tracking, commission management, commission budgeting and reporting in a single solution.
