This acquisition is set to enhance Cisco’s secure networking capabilities across various public clouds, further enriching its innovative Cisco Security Cloud vision. This AI-driven, cloud-delivered, integrated security platform caters to organizations of all sizes and shapes, offering advanced threat protection across diverse cloud environments, applications, or workloads.

Isovalent, a prominent figure in the open-source community, has significantly contributed to the development of cloud-native networking and security solutions. It is particularly known for its leadership in eBPF technology and the development of Cilium, a leading solution in the sector. This acquisition, while its financial details remain undisclosed, marks a significant step for Cisco in strengthening its position in the multicloud networking and security domain.
