Blockchain-based KYC solution Blockpass has joined the Open Identity Exchange (OIX), an organisation aiming to accelerate the adoption of digital identity services based on open standards.
Blockpass has become a member of the collaborative group because it shares the goal of the global realisation of identity for the Internet of Everything.
The OIX runs a number of projects with industry leaders in competing sectors in order to solve problems surrounding identity. In addition to this, it supplies supporting dialogue among the members through events and introductions.
Blockpass is an identity verification solution developer, supporting the verification of humans, objects and devices. Users are able to create, store and manage digital identity data and use it across its business operations in a secure manner.
Adam Vaziri said “Joining OIX is a great step for Blockpass, and we continue to build strategic alliances and partnerships within the digital identity space,”. “The exchange gives us the opportunity to grow and meet other business in different sectors and industries that have the same devotion to digital identity that we do”.
The RegTech company was very active last year, with it forming a partnership with GoSecurity at the close of the year. This deal will see Blockpass deploy its KYC verification solutions to GoSecurity to help provide premium, simple and compliant onboarding of its customers.
Other notable successes for the company in 2018 included partnerships with Holdex, Fully-Verified and Infinito, and the launch of its research lab.
