ABBYY, a content intelligence services provider, has released a new AI-powered tool for automating document processing workflows.
New developments to ABBYY FlexiCapture will also help convert unstructured content into structured data for better business outcomes.
The product launches include the beta mode of its Real-Time Capture tool on the FlexiCapture Cloud, enabling real-time document processing in the cloud. Some of the use cases for this tool include customer onboarding, new account opening, and mortgage origination, or anywhere immediate response and structured data is essential.
In a bid to help companies with their digital transformation and process automation, ABBYY released its FlexiCapture available in the cloud. Deployed in Microsoft Azure, the solution gives all the benefits of its cloud services directly to customers, developers, and ISVs through REST API (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface) and web interfaces.
In doing this, ABBYY offers advanced and automated content classification, extraction, validation, and integration to customers, improving customer onboarding, claims processing, new account opening, accounts payable, and mortgage origination challenges.
The release of the ABBYY FlexiCapture Cloud REST API will now help enable clients to integrate FlexiCapture as a cloud Content IQ service inside their systems. Using the API will make it easier for applications and services to submit content to ABBYY and access real-time responses related to data, context, entities, and relationships.
Simply, the new service will give clients capabilities to extract meaning from documents, continuously train the system and develop custom verification processes.

Last year, ABBYY released a cloud-based AI technology to augment financial business decision-making processes to directly ensure GDPR compliance.
