IDEX Biometrics, a global leader in fingerprint biometrics, has entered into a collaboration with Beautiful Card Corporation (BCC), one of the world’s leading smart card manufacturers, to increase the distribution of biometric smart cards in Asia.
This partnership is in response to the escalating demand from banks and issuers within the region.
BCC, a certified smart card solution provider by VISA, Mastercard and JCB, manufactures, personalises, and packages payment and multi-application cards. Annually, they produce 121 million payment cards. Their sustainability-focused card solutions, combined with the cutting-edge hardware and software authentication solutions offered by IDEX Biometrics, promises a boost in market growth not just in Asia, but globally.
Expressing excitement over the partnership, BCC’s global vice president, sales and business development, Shellen Hsu said, “We are thrilled to collaborate with IDEX Biometrics, leveraging their leading technology to enhance the consumer reach of biometric smart cards.
