Banking software company Temenos has partnered with Belgium-based MAINSYS, an IT service provider for financial services.
This partnership will foster MAINSYS experience with banking digitalisation and Temenos’ end-to-end digital banking technology. As partners, the companies will pave the way for Belgian banks to improve customer journeys and digital banking options.
Temenos builds a selection of banking and finance software to help financial institutions to transform their businesses. Offerings include corporate banking, fund management, inclusive banking, Islamic banking, retail banking, lifecycle management, and wealth management.
The company also enables these institutions to unlock other financial services, such as data and analytics, access to online payments, or tools for the support with regulations. It offers front-to-back compliance and risk management solutions, increases efficiency by making it easy to meet reporting requirements and ensures financial institutions are prepared for the rise of digital technology from a compliance perspective.
Temenos’ risk and compliance product family offer software and services for common reporting standards (CRS), compliance advisory services (US market only), customer data protection (GDPR), enterprise risk management, FATCA compliance, IFRS 9, MiFID II, TAXGST (GCC VAT) and Vendor Management.
Temenos Europe regional director Steen Jensen said, “The combination of MAINSYS, a recognized market specialist with significant implementation experience, and our state-of-the art digital banking offering, will provide Belgian banks the opportunity to rise above the urgent challenges of digitalisation and open banking.”
MAINSYS supplies banks with software to help with digitisation and maintaining compliance with regulations. It is hoping this new partnership will bolster its ability to support banks with digitalisation and innovation projects by addressing transformation, business intelligence and regulatory compliance. MAINSYS also provides the expertise to support the banks’ operations with GFRC (Governance, Finance, Risk & Compliance) systems such as the Wolters Kluwer Financial Services OneSumX solution.
Earlier in the year, Abu Dhabi Global Market started its search for the third cohort of its regulatory laboratory, prioritising FinTechs and RegTechs with a SME focus. The members will access the digital sandbox, which is provided by Temenos.
