Templafy, a Danish template management software company, has closed a $17.2m Series B round.
The round, which takes the company’s total funding to about $21.4m, was led by Insight Venture Partners. New investor Dawn Capital and existing Series A investor SEED Capital also participated in the round, alongside Preben Damgaard and other private investors.
Founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2014, Templafy brings custom company templates, brand assets and best practice content together directly inside any office application, streamlining how users create on-brand and compliant documents, presentations and emails.
Enterprises use the company’s solution for company-wide brand control and compliance, streamlining all documents, presentations and emails in their organisation without the use of IT.
The solution also claims to ‘massively increase productivity’ when creating documents, emails and presentations, and reduce the risk of legal incompliance. Templafy enables centralized control of legal text in all documents, emails and presentations for any employee.

The funding will be used to accelerate Templafy’s growth plan, which includes scaling operations, expanding its product and integrations offering. It currently works with Big Four professional services firms, Magic Circle law firms, and multinational brands to ensure that the thousands of business documents, presentations and emails created by employees everyday are on-brand and compliant.
