Privacy platform TerraTrue has reportedly collected $15m in its Series A funding round.
3L served as the lead investor, with commitments also coming from Anthos Capital and angel investor Chris Sacca, according to a report from Venture Beat.
The California-based RegTech platform claims to be the first privacy platform designed to seamlessly work with product development. The platform maps a company’s platform against GDPR, CCPA and their own privacy rules to ensure risks are identified and privacy issues are spotted.
Its system, which plugs into the development lifecycle, can ensure a company is always compliant. It has real-time flags based on laws, as well as internal policies.
TerraTrue’s features include GDPR and CCPA rule support, scalable privacy and product guidance, customisable workflows, automated ROPAs and data maps, vendor assessments and automated privacy assessments.
Earlier in the week, secrets management company Akeyless has collected $14m in its Series A funding round. The investment was backed by Team8 and Jerusalem Venture Partners.
