Capgemini, a provider of consulting, technology and digital transformation services, has joined the Hartford InsurTech Hub.
The Connecticut-based accelerator is powered by Startupbootcamp and aims to support the global insurance industry to innovate and solve core business challenges. It was launched last year and currently has ten companies from five countries, working on solutions spanning AI, big data analytics, natural language processing, cybersecurity, smart home and health insurance.
Capgemini develops a range of technology and digitalisation solutions to help companies within the banking, insurance, healthcare, retail and government industries, among others. The company’s services include AI, cloud operations, cybersecurity, risk management, GDPR tools, and digital services.
Insurance firms can use the platform to digitalise their operations, by improving their claim processes and the processing of policies, in order to improve the customer experiences. GDPR tools are available to help implement flexible parameters to ensure all data is protected and monitored, ensuring complete compliance.
A company can also leverage Capgemini to improve their online protection, with cybersecurity tools available to simulate attacks, derive analysis of vulnerabilities and consulting available to improve protections of systems and data.
