Startupbootcamp’s InsurTech accelerator has inked a deal with Eos Venture Partners that will see the investor put up to £1m into the accelerators’ cohort of startups next year.
The London-based accelerator is part of a global network of specialised incubators and takes on 10 startups in each batch for its three-month programmes.
Startupbootcamp InsurTech managing director Sabine VanderLinden said, “We have found that InsurTech startups are motivated to collaborate on their first projects with insurers, but also to engage with industry-centric investors.
“At times, it’s difficult and time consuming for startups to establish that initial traction and we are pleased that we are able to provide a platform for opening conversations.”
Founded in September Eos Venture Partners is a dedicated insurtech fund offering financing and advise to startups in the space.
Its recent investments include Digital Fineprint, Neos, and RightIndem, in addition to investing in ActiveQuote.
