Identity and authentication solution developer SecureKey Technologies will release real-time photo-ID verification services through Onfido deal.
As part of the deal, Onfido will combine its identity document verification and AI expertise with the real-time authentication and verification capabilities from SecureKey.
This offering will allow users to scan their physical identity documents, such a passports and driver licenses, and have other personal information verified in real-time from trusted sources including financial institutions, credit bureaus, telecommunication companies and government.
The companies believe the combination of these services will increase digital capabilities globally by improving verification.

Onfido assess whether a user’s government-issued physical identity documents are legitimate, basing this on more than 4,500 document types spanning 195 countries.
Earlier in the months, Onfido partnered with telecommunications operator Moflix to offer its mobile authentication capabilities.
