Frontegg, a developer of secure access SaaS services, has closed its seed round on $5m.
The round was led by Pitango, with support also coming from i3 Equity and Global Founders Capital.
Frontegg offers a set of pre-built SaaS product capabilities which can easily integrate with new and existing applications. The plug-in technology enables developers to easily integrate new tools such as secure access, authentication, roles and permissions, notifications, in-app messaging and more.
The company’s technology is already used by early-stage startups and unicorns alike, and it is looking to expand its North American customer base over the coming quarters.
Frontegg CEO and co-founder Sagi Rodin said, “Before AWS, engineering teams had to scale their own infrastructure. Before Kubernetes, DevOps teams were confined to assembling their own container orchestration and management solutions. These platforms liberated software organizations from dealing with these non-core, yet critical tasks while delivering top-notch solutions for the challenge at hand.
“Frontegg’s mission is to give SaaS innovators the same opportunity – to accelerate the delivery of enterprise-grade SaaS applications while providing the safest, most secure and optimal user experience.”
