Identity protection platform Aura has launched an innovation fund and made its inaugural investment into Cybersecurity training platform HacWare.
HacWare will receive seed investment capital, professional mentorship and development support.
The company leverages AI technology to help tams learn about online threats and how to protect themselves from spear-phishing and business email compromised scams.
Through its cloud technology, natural language processing and optical character recognition to identify internal risks to email hacks. It also automatically generates personalised phishing campaigns to keep employees alert and educated.
Aura’s innovation fund is an ethical investment platform aimed at early-stage startups in the cybersecurity space. It aims to support underrepresented and overlooked emerging leaders.
Aura founder and CEO Hari Ravichandran said, “Making the internet safer for all requires impact-driven investments in a diverse ecosystem that keeps the most vulnerable top of mind when building new solutions.
“That’s why we created the Aura Innovation Fund – to invest in founders like Tiffany Ricks, leading startups like HacWare. We will support startups that share and advance our mission and foster a stronger industry that better represents and meets the needs of the incredibly diverse and increasingly digital world we live in.”
