The London-based RegTech company ClauseMatch has signed a partnership with the Italian bank Banca Intesa Sanpaolo.
The partnership will see ClauseMatch’s online document management solution be implemented in the bank’s platform.
Having originally met the bank through a meeting through the FinTech Innovation Lab accelerator, ClauseMatch went through a thorough IT security and compliance check before being signed on by the bank, according to Crowdfund Insider.
“Banks and large financial services companies are increasingly looking for next-generation solutions for different aspects of their business,” commented Evgeny Likhoded, CEO and founder of ClauseMatch. “The Intesa Sanpaolo case shows how a RegTech company can first and foremost significantly optimize its business processes.”
ClauseMatch raised $2.5m in venture debt funding from Silicon Valley Bank in May 2019. Its innovative spirit also impressed the judges behind the prestigious RegTech 100 list, which is why it was deemed to be one of the world’s most promising RegTech companies in 2019.
